Jacqueline Kelly for Judge

I, Jacqueline Kelly, am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Sedgwick County District Judge!

It is with a deep sense of commitment to justice and fairness that I step forward to serve our wonderful community.  With my years of broad legal experience and my passion for upholding the law, I am dedicated to doing my part to ensure equal treatment under the law is an inherent necessity.

Before becoming an attorney, I was an analyst for the Department of Defense in Virginia and a proud military spouse.

I started my legal career in Kansas, representing victims in the courtrooms of Sedgwick County. I specialized in juvenile offender cases and civil commitments.

Now, as a city attorney, I advise my municipal clients on their complex civil caseload, employment law matters, and economic development preparation.

I believe in judicial integrity,  proper judicial temperament, transparency, and measured efficiency.

I also embrace and appreciate the magnitude and responsibility of serving Sedgwick County as a District Court Judge.  If given the opportunity and the privilege to serve you, my goal is to bring these proven values to every case and to every litigant appearing in court before me.  I pledge to make decisions that reflect the best interest of our county and its people.

I would be honored to earn your vote on August 6th.
